Writing Sprints

As authors/writers, do you take part in writing sprints. Until a few years ago, I hadn’t. Mind you, back then, I didn’t know what writing sprints were. We learn as we go, though, right?

A fellow author sat down with me one day and explained the process to me. She said writing sprints were a means of boosting productivity. The more you did it, the more your word count starts to rise. It puts the person in a certain frame of mind, allowing them to accrue words for the stories they’re writing. While it might not seem like much, at first, it truly does build up the word count.
